Because of above similarities, I didn't watch more than 15 minutes.

In the very beginning, the WOW factor should be heightened to send home clearly the message of the child's gift.
The scenes move quickly and linkage to the gift in its message to do good is somewhat weakened in my humble opinion.
I love the premise and having the child with the gift is an added plus.

Well - I must have liked it as I rarely do cartoon / anime type movies and I stayed from beginning to end.

If doing a follow-on / another anime I am sure I would watch - if done in a movie and with direction and cast worthy I would pay to see in a theater AND if good I would likely buy a DVD.

Just enough X-men to turn your head but lots of originaliy - imho .. !

I liked the storyline. I would have liked to see a little more emphasis on a few of the other characters and how they relate with each other. It is also good to add a few of those classic comedic relief moments. It kept my interest and if it is made into a movie I would definitely watch it.

In think the concept is very good. I enjoyed the movie. Unfortunately, the climax, in my opinion, needs some work. The structure and what it revealed was good, but the way it played out could be structured better. I appreciate the opportunity to view and comment on the movie. Thank you.

It's an interesting story that kept my attention the whole time.

This definitely has potential for making a good movie. Some of the early dialogue needs to be cleared up a little bit.

I could easily see this as a movie leading into a series. If this is done, please write it with a two were three season planned and point.

Not what I was expecting based on the description. Didn't like the fact that I felt like I was watching an animated comic book. Storyline seemed great, execution just sucked. Watched about 15 minutes then moved on.

Some of the voice actors were not good but I got the point of the plot and really liked the story. I think it would be better as a TV show rather then a movie.

I thought I would just give this a quick look, and ended up watching the entire "movie". It takes something with a pretty good story line to keep my interest when using storyboard visuals. I have a couple of observations/recommendations:

Explain the cloaks! Okay, so they are hot if running through city streets. But what else?? If they are supposed to protect the screamer, why does Blue get hurt when she runs into someone? If they are protection, what is special about them that ordinary cloth doesn't have? And make them look like something unique, if they are meant to help identify them as screamers.

You have already changed the effect of touching someone else from shock to burning. But that makes less sense. A shock is felt throughout the body, even if it is started in one extremity. Burns are highly localized. A burn on the arm wouldn't kill you if you held on for 30 seconds. This idea of prolonged contact becoming lethal is an important plot element with the twist at the end. This also opens the question of scarring- is the "burn" real, or just an effect on the nervous system? So, why not have the effect of touch occur in the brain, not the part that is touched. Something like "my brain is on fire!". Those who maintain contact for more than a few seconds would be told that the result would fry their brain, etc. This would also provide a connection to the mother touching her son's head and "burying" his powers as well as the wonderful (addictive) feeling connected with her touching other screamers that leads to murder.

Explain more about the connection between Graham and the government? How does he have the authority he seems to wield?

The girl chosen to portray Blue in the previews seems wrong for the part. The storyboard portrays a young woman in conflict, and showing her need to rebel by her hair style and manner of dress. More importantly, she needs to have a moody, sullen look. The girl in the previews seems too light-hearted.

The story and dialogue were compelling enough to keep me interested throughout. But making that work on the screen will depend very much on the actors and the environment. I really hope you can get that right!! I would love to see THAT movie.

I believe that this idea could go somewhere... I enjoyed watching it. It needs polish, but then it is not an actual movie yet. I'd rent it as a feature length live action film.

Love the story.. but I think every thing move just a little to fast. The begin to fast.,and them moving state to state just needed more .... but loved it. Thanks for letting me have a say ..

I think it will grab the interest of young adults and if the right actors/actresses are used should be a big hit.

I watched about 45 minutes of it. The story was pretty good and would have been entertaining enough to watch all the way through if it wasn't a storyboard. Also I thought some of the voice acting was inconsistent. Some of the male voices were way to chipper. Even if they were supposed to be comic relief, it wasn't quite right.

I would have liked to hear some humorous jokes in the dialog which always helps when watching an action movie since the tone of the movie throughout is quite somber.

I felt like the story focused so much on character development that the crime scene story-line fell flat. I wasn't sure what was going on in the first crime scene investigation or what crime they were trying to solve.

There is a lot of dialog between characters but I didn't think the dialog was too interesting in the beginning. They would just spit out short uninteresting phrases. Not that this is different from the big budget movies you see in the theater.

It was an interesting premise and I think could be entertaining to watch as an action movie.

I liked the story - it was almost like PUSH or XMEN but different.

I think it has potential and would make a great movie.

Sexual situation was a little much. But pain of Blue came through and is expressive for so many in todays society.

I loved this movie, I really hope you decide to produce it, most would decide to watch it. I love the twists of the plot, and you can really understand what tthe 'screamers' are going through, life is their personal hell. IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!

I found the story interesting enough to watch the entire movie. I think it would make a good film.

Overall, I liked this script. It had a good story, some good action you could see in your head, and a satisfying conclusion.

But, with that said, I just feel like I've seen this movie before. Someone else said "Push" and I have to agree. It feels very similar to that, and sometimes honestly feels more like a pilot for a TV series rather than a movie script.

The writing is not bad and the script is not bad...I just think that it needs a little something extra to push it apart from the competition. Right now it seems like a script that many of us are already familiar with, and when you had a chance to do something new/interesting you seemed to go the safe route instead.

I'd like to follow this as you and other work on it more, though. It definitely has potential.

I'm confused. I read the latest Draft 3 version of the Touching Blue script and then I come to watch the test movie which was uploaded just a few weeks ago and its based on Draft 1!? What's up with that? I see that Draft 3 was uploaded before this test movie was posted, so I'm really interested in knowing as to why so much work went into making this test movie when a much better script is available.

Honestly Draft 3 is much better, it cuts off many unnecessary characters, sharpens the dialogue, heightens the drama and suspense...I hope that another test movie is made, perhaps on Draft 4 or Draft 5 because there is still work to be done. I will save my advice on how to improve the script in a thorough review of Draft 3, but for now here's my two cents on the test movie...

Because the test movie is based on an old screenplay, I can't really rag too much on the dialogue (awkward) or the storyline (choppy/confusing), but I will say that I enjoyed some of the voice acting (Blue in particular) and thought some was very uninspired (Taylor/Harry).

In terms of the story boards themselves I would give it an average grade. There weren't any memorable scenes or images that had a lasting impact on me, which is unfortunate for such a promising premise. How about the audience gets to see a first person perspective when Blue touches an object and sees the connection of that object to the individual? That is interesting and for the most part highly original. Not only will this enable the audience to experience what these powers are like first hand, but we will develop an emotional connection with Blue, we will be able to empathize with her situation and truly understand the positive and negative consequences that comes with her power.

There is so much potential with this story its a shame the artistic directors didn't depict scenes such as these that are visceral and unique, allowing us to judge for ourselves if these powers are really worth having. Hoping for another test movie to come out with some of these scenes included, but please hold off until a 5 star script is released!

I think this movies should be live action instead of animation. It should have a little more action and a liitle more romance. I love the movie.

I very much enjoyed this, I would see it in the movies and am confident my wife would want to.
