Ich komme auch hier aus Kassel und ich muss sagen das ich die Filme von Ralf Kemper immer sehr interessant finde. Das beste an seinen Filmen ist meistens die Story, die zunächst sehr unübersichtlich erscheint, doch nach wenigen Überlegungen wird es einem immer deutlicher. Habe mittlerweile mehrere Filme von ihm gesehen und freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten, um dann nochmals herauszufinden, was er mit dem Film sagen will oder was die Intention der Story ist. Wie bereits erwähnt ist die Geschichte nicht immer einfach zu verstehen, doch genau das ist der Punkt, der einen Film auch auszeichnet: Ihn so zu gestalten, dass Spekulatioonen und Überlegungen im Vordergrund sind!
Somit kann ich den Film nur empfehlen (auch andere Filme e.g. Toxic Lullaby)

I really admire what Kemper is able to do with nearly no budget. If someone could push him up, I am really sure it would be working! I have seen some other stuff the years before and each film reached a new dimension.

An solchen Filmen sieht man, dass auch in Deutschland gute Horror-Thriller möglich sind, warum haben die großen Studios nicht den Mum zu zeigen, dass man auch in Deutschland nicht nur gute Comedien machen kann. Ich hatte ja gehoft das nach "Anatomie 1" und "Flashback" mehr gute deutsche Horror Filme kommen, doch leider Fehlanzeige. In diesem Moment schlägt aber die Stunde, der kleinen angarchierten und Risiko bereiten Produktionsteams wie hier das um Ralf Kemper. Dieser Film ist absolut sehenswert und ich würde mir wünschen, dass große Studios solchen Machern eine Chance geben würden und Mut zum Risiko geben würden. Mit ordendlich Geld, könnte man es mit internationalen Produktionen aus England und Frankreich sicher aufnehmen. Ralf Kemper und seinem Team, danke für dieses kleine Filmjuwel aus deutschen Landen.

Yes, it is a low budget movie and of course everybody can see that. Especially the very first scenes are not exactly thrilling. BUT it flatters me to see how much a motivated crew can do without any money. The actors love what they're doing and there are so many weird ideas included in this story that it is impossible not to be touched by it all. I love especially the "I pay for my sins..." scene. In my opinion it shows that the actors really try to give everything no matter how weird it may seem. I also love the humour that is included in this movie. People who love splatter will be thrilled, but also people who like suspense and serious horror. Great camera work!! It defenately is NOT a typical low budget trash! Sometimes it is not easy to follow the plot line, but as soon as you just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, you will like this movie in many ways. Watch it!!!

Considering the conditions under which the director had to work to make this film, the result is really amazing and worth having a look at. The locations, costumes, atmosphere created and even the special effects certainly do justice to the topic, even if some of the dialogue could have been executed with a more convincing accent. All in all, it's an emotional roller coaster that really grips you!

I find, considering what budget they seem to have had, they made the most of it. The movie celebrates the genre without taking itself too seriously. Some of the actors / actresses are charismatic, with a naive charm. Non-Pros with that something special.

All in all, pretty minimalistic in it´s style, aiming more at density in atmosphere than at lots of action. Funny in parts without being slapstick, with subtle irony. Some almost poetic moments, that take time to soak in.

music not spectacular, but it carries the somewhat paranoid mood of the movie well.

The english isn´t perfect in some cases, but I personally find that rather charming.

I think the story has potential and I like the eery look of the movie.

Once again Director Ralf Kemper expands ordinary genre conventions to build a storyline which leads to some confusion first. But this maze is really amazing and by exploring it further, the real horror behind it reveals step by step.
No big budget movie, but a vile and thrilling trip for your nerves - kiss them goodbye. An exceptional piece of film made in germany.

A wickedly pensive, daemon kill fest, that is actually smarter than it is gory, which of course, it is.

Not at all the sharp Rodriguez Dialogues, but a constantly clever and profound horror Story for B-movie aficionados.
