First, the concept of the movie is similar to others such as "Liar Liar". Where Jim Carrey's son gets upset due to all of his father's lies and not being around so he uses his birthday wish to stop his father from lying. After the wish has taken place, Jim Carrey can no longer lie, no matter how small it is. At the end of the movie, it finally brings the son and father together, while canceling out the wish that was made. It is rated PG-13 and contains cursing, adult scenes, etc.

As for this film, I don't think that children under the age of 18 should be listening to words such as the "N" word (which was spoken many times). As well as "partying with h's and b's". As a parent of children of 13 and under, I would never allow my children to listen to music or watch a TV show or movie containing these words. So, in order to be a family film, as stated you are wanting, this would have be dropped or changed drastically.

If this was made into a movie, it should not have a child rating. This film and concept is more of the adult rated material instead of a children or family-friendly film. It could possibly slide by as a PG-13 film as "Liar Liar" did.

I do think that the concept of the film is a great idea, but it seriously needs to be tweaked in order for parents to allow their children to watch it and to make it a family film. I like that after she makes the prayer, that her father is forced to change his ways.

It could be marketed as simply saying:

"A child yearning for her father .... a father who is more focused on his career. What happens when a simple prayer flips his world upside down?"
