Creative Notes

Altered one major action scene, which impacts on subsequent scenes. Also polished to do away with some clumsy typos and small sections that do not work. Not a full rewrite but makes for a better, more complete script.

Synopsis

After a mysterious hot spot is found in the Jura mountains of France/Switzerland, Alpha Team, a team of Army Special Forces Rangers, is sent to investigate. They discover a secret Nazi bunker that was laying dormant for 70 years. After entering, they find some very interesting equipment. As they move through the bunker, some fumbling around and a perfect storm of events causes the equipment to activate. This transports Alpha Team back in time almost 70 years.

They are immediately confronted by a team of Nazi soldiers and scientists who occupy the bunker in 1945, shortly before the Germans are due to surrender. After defeating the foes, They capture one of the scientists and try to comprehend what just happened. Still not believing they could have possibly traveled through time, they head for the planned rendezvous, which is - in 1945 - occupied by a French farm. They encounter many things that do not make sense until it finally clicks that they have in fact traveled through time and now they must find a way home.

But their presence has tipped off a German Special Forces officer that the war is about to be lost, a highly-skilled soldier who now plans to use the machine to travel back and turn the war in Germany's favour.

Set on their new mission, Alpha Team stumble upon a US Platoon attacking the supply bunker that both the German officer and Alpha Team need access to. Coincidentally, this US Platoon is the same platoon of the grandfather of one of Alpha teams members.

This leaves Alpha Team with even more problems: do they continue to fight, and potentially change history? Or do they do nothing, and hope history takes care of their fate and destiny?

A final showdown ensues, a battle no one will walk away from unscathed... possibly even time itself.

I felt the characters could be a bit more distinguishable from one another. But all in all a decent read, and a movie I'd watch.
