This is a first rate dialogue track!

This recording is very clean and the voice performances are great! Every character is unique and interesting, your actors did a fantastic job. This is easily the best and most professional dialogue track I've heard on AS. I think you definitely have a winner here.

As far as the story goes, this reminded me a lot of A BUG'S LIFE. In fact, I could've swore I heard Hopper's voice pop up on the soundtrack a few times. And I was really impressed with how many details about inscent behaviour and biology you managed to work into the story. It was both fun and educational. And I really liked the overall theme about the dangers of messing with mother nature. You really do hit all the right notes with this. I can't wait to see the test movie!

But I must say, I was a little surprised at how short this dialogue track is. Only 34 minutes! I guess there's a large amount of action scenes to this. And I must say, I'm more than a little curious to see how you're going to convey that visually.

Well done! This is the first true photo storyboard I've seen. And by that I mean you didn't use any action line narration to tell your story. All the visuals are conveyed through the photos.

What particularly struck me was how cinematic it was. It really felt like a movie. I think this is mainly due to the high shot density. There is a very large number of photos in this. More than just the bare minimum to tell the story. I'd be very curious to know exactly how many photos this test movie contains. I also thought the shot composition was very well done. And even the little things, like the frequent use of the slow zoom in made the presentation feel more dynamic, and thus contributed to the highly cinematic looks. I also like the use of full video for the movie scene. Although, oddly enough, that sequence felt somehow less cinematic than the rest because you didn't have as many cuts in it. I guess that's kind of ironic.

One thing that bothered me a little was the echo effect for the voice over. In theory, I think this was a good call. It helps to distinguish between VO and actual dialogue, which is important when you can't see people's lips moving. However, I did have some difficulty understanding all the words when the echo effect was in use.

I thought the voice acting was top notch. As well as the acting (or should I say posing) in the photos. And the score really helped to establish the mood of each scene. The music was alwasy present, but never invassive. But I hardly noticed any foley effects. Although you did have effective use of background noise in certain scenes. Since this story was so dialogue driven, the sound design really helped to make it more engaging and easier to connect with.

Overall, I think this is a very professional effort and a highly effective test movie. And like I said before, its best quality is that it doesn't use any action line narration whatsoever. And that is clearly the direction Amazon wants to take the test movie competition. For that reason, I think this is going to win this month. It's a perfect example of what a photo storyboard should be.
