Personally I like a script to flow a bit more in the actions, rather than a bullet point direction - it makes me feel part of the story, rather than stage direction, which also causes me to start to skim through it. I also felt that a lot happened in what would be only a 90min film (if thats what it's intended to be).
Reading through it, I felt like he came across as a quite a hero - which I'm sure he was by his people, yet I couldn't get passed what he did to people, almost the opposite to 'Che' which I guess would be the nearest film I could put it next to.
Lastly and I'm sure this is only due to the conversion from final draft to an rft file - the formatting of the script got to me. Half of the first page was on the title page - but that really gets to me (must check my script now!)
I will read the next draft as I'd like to see what happens.
I guess what it all comes down to is, would I watch this on Cinema - only if a really good director was behind it. Would I watch it on TV - yes.
