More About Me

I took several writing classes and loved them all. My favorite was fiction writing.
My professors all stated that I am a descriptive writer but I never seem to like what I write. I'm hoping that, if nothing else, I will at least get constructive criticism that will enable me to enhance my writing skills and fulfill my dreams.

I absolutely love everything about this screenplay. I found myself so drawn to the characters and what happens to them. I was unable to put it down.
Great job. I would love to see this SP as a movie one day.

It took me awhile to make it through the script. I encountered a few problems which may have been intended on Vernon's part, I'm not sure.
I found myself questioning the wife's reaction the morning after she messes around with Ruby but perhaps when you live in such rural areas reactions are different in regards to such situations than say if you are from the city.
Then I was wondering about the scene in the emergency room. Would his wife have had access to get a stretcher for her husband, Joe Cecil to put their injured friend on or is it like modern times in the city where emergency personnel would rush out with the gurney and rush away with the injured party?
When Maurice starts selling ducks the screenplay becomes more interesting and keeps you reading. There are a few typos (not sure if intended for their country personas) such as rumor being spelled rummer.
I did end up enjoying this script though.

Jeremiah has constructed a magnificent work of art with this script. The premise is superb with so many twists and turns that have you guessing right up until the end. Just when you think you have it figured out he throws another surprise your way. The characters are outstanding, extremely well defined. The dialogue is dead on throughout the entire script. The story structure is setup perfectly and emotion is excellent. I would not change a thing about ths masterpiece.

Great job Jeremiah.

I am not into swashbucklers with the exception of Pirates of the Caribbean and I am not big on harlequin type romances but this script is an easy read. There are numerous grammatical issues such as he puts his hand in her back instead of on her back or she points the sword to the man instead of at the man as well as others that were covered in Jeremiah's review but when you look beyond them this script takes you on a magical journey. The characters are well rounded. the premise and dialogue are good.

With polishing this can be a great script.

I enjoyed this script so much. I can definitely see it being made into a movie. The premise is unique. The characters are well defined. The emotion is dead on. I laughed in places. I oohed and aahed in some and I had a burning hatred for the antagonist. I also smiles at the great ending. So this script definitely covers all of the emotions. The dialogue is great as is the story structure. I wouldn't change a thing.

Rick. Congratulations on a great screenplay. I love it. Good luck. I encourage fellow readers to check out the teaser for this great script at http://vimeo.com/22223102. The teaser is great as well. I loved it.
