I went to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and Graduated with a degree in Political Science. I thought politics was rough, but who am I kidding, writing is brutal. For the past several years, I have taught myself how to write screenplays through trail and error, analysis, and continued work. Right now, I write full time. When I started years ago I needed to even the playing field and commit to building a foundation. Well, I have. Now, I am looking for part time or full time work, any writing jobs? send them my way. I once heard Stuart Beatie say in an interview that he wrote eight screenplays before he got one looked at. I wrote three unpublished books, two screenplays, and a third yet to be posted and I can tell you, gone are the days of wild visuals and risk taking. I am sick of giving "judges" reasons not to look at my writing. Truth be told, cliches work, especially if you can give them a twist. If you don't think about making your screenplay cheap, good, and accessible for a Directing-for-idiots crowd, you aren't even going to get read beyond the first few pages. People don't read, they watch.

P.S. I am writing this at 2:20am and have just gotten rejected on a treatment submission which despite the outcome was infinitely helpful and inspired an analyzes of treatments and a diffusion of ideas from relationships, to parts, etc. ie the break down to eatable pieces.

STATUS: Overworked and Underpaid

Good ones, not the over visualized tent-poles, but ones with suspenseful thrills and chills, ones that make you sweat around the collar, ones that make your stomach flutter or face hurt from smiling. The subtle. The quiet. All of the above.

Everything I watch, see, hear, observe, think and most importantly, DREAMS. Dreams, yes, dreams are the most influential, bizarre and creative form of truth. They are quite simply the answer. Cliches? -no, absolutes, Jungian psychology.
