About
Author, screenwriter, and producer with an MFA in screenwriting. I wrote the novel and feature script for C.B. DeMille: The Man Who Invented Hollywood and wrote and produced Destiny's Lance, an action thriller surrounding the legendary spear of destiny. I have taught screenwriting and film history as a guest lecturer at Mills College, The University of Maryland, and Riverside Community College. I have 8 nonfiction books and a novel published, including Life After Debt, Identity Theft, Credit Secrets, and Grace Period. For more info, look me up on IMDB. Thanks.
For marketing to a broad, 4 quadrant audience, I'd eliminate the use of words like "fag", "bitch" and "damn" etc. They don't add any authenticity to the characters or move the story forward, so don't really serve any purpose other than to alienate some audience members.
Otherwise, the movie could appeal to audiences that like Soul Surfer, Rudy, and Radio. Good work!
