More About Me

When Ian Camacho produced and marketed the action/comedy/horror short BRUNCH OF THE LIVING DEAD on a budget of just $500, he had no idea that it would become a cult film nor play a key role in helping to launch one fellow student actor Jake Silbermann onto series regular role on CBS’ daytime series “AS THE WORLD TURNS”.

Given this early success, it was no surprise when he was hired as a Production Assistant for multiple hit TV shows, including Family Guy, Ghost Whisperer, Samantha Who and Beauty and the Geek. Although he enjoyed production, Ian knew that he ultimately wanted to learn the business end of the industry. He became an assistant to the Director of Development at Blowtorch Entertainment and then to the Vice-President of Don Buchwald & Associates Talent Agency, where he was able to build his contacts throughout the entertainment industry.

Mr. Camacho is currently finishing post-production on the short “THE PONY MAN”, scheduled to be released later this year; this is the final work of the late actress and director Chane’t Johnson. He is also producing an animated/live action hybrid with Tom Kenny (voice of "Spongebob Squarepants").

Ian graduated the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. In his free time, he balances volunteering, performing stand-up comedy, and writing screenplays.
