More About Me
Emil B. Garuba is a screenwriter and one of the foremost creative minds working within Nigeria’s film industry. He studied Creative Writing and Political Science at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he received a BA in 1998 before pursuing a career as a screenwriter and script editor. Emil has since written five feature-length screenplays (including Elseworld, Lovestruck, Way of the Warrior, and 12:30_The Movie) and is a writer on Tinsel, M-Net Africa's first Nigerian soap opera.
Emil has various projects at different stages of production - He is the Creative Director of Rated E, a screenplay consultation and concept development service based in Nigeria where he’s currently developing original content for the African Film and TV market. Rated E specializes in concept development for Film & TV production as well as documentary, commercial & music videos, including screenplay editing and packaging.
