1. Characters - You did so much with your characters using brief description and actions. The scenes in the airport with Dick practicing his pricing techniques on people was very well written. Using just a handful of words, you nailed his character completely. Same with Ted and Jacintha. Superb, subtle, quality writing there. Good work.
2. Dialogue - You could remove the nametags from the screenplay and still know exactly who was talking. That is the epitome of excellent dialogue. Just fantastic.
3. Subtleties - There were so many places in this script where you use simple quick images to convey complex character and relationship development. The scene that comes to mind is the roach motel scene, where you show Kelly and Randy sleeping in separate beds, then show Ted sleeping in the car outside. Simple, communicative and effective. Excellent.
4. Interviews - My only criticism is that the "interviews" were kind of put on hold in the third act, during the finale. All the interviews before that were spot on and provided excellent pauses in story. I wanted more interviews at the end.
Again, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to seeing Justin Long as Ted, Will Arnett as Dick and obviously George Hamilton as Howard on the big screen.
Good work!
