Here is a tale of adventure that rekindles the wonder of a natural legend and mates it with a stout journey into one of the oldest cultures and most majestic mountain ranges on the planet. The script opens by poking fun at the detractors and sensationalists that have nearly extinguished our fascination with the unknown - a well played first move.
From there a gripping and witty character story unfolds with elements of scientific discovery and the moral constraints of an ancient religion being pitted against the steamroller of modern society and it's addiction to the exploited. As an added bonus, much of the story takes us travelling through the exotic Himalaya Mountains, creating a true tale of adventure that could lead a viewer to turn off the GPS for a bit, dust off a fedora and venture into the unknown of our youths.
My one gripe: The minimal amount of romance is a bit cheesy (in a Roaring 20's kind of way) but at least it's lighthearted, humorous, and limited.
