About
Born in Criciuma, Santa Catarina, Brasil in 1979.
Landed in Los Angeles in 2007 with a recently acquired degree in Audio Engineering, from Full Sail University. After working and freelancing in the Audio Post Production field across Southern California, I decided that I wanted to also become part of the creative process of film making. So I started writing!
My only son, Evaristo "Nene" Scarsanela III, was born in 2008 and has been a constant source of joy and motivation.

A Warrior Tale!

Storm Dragons is a epic tale of tactically and mystically trained warriors, that even in death choose to loyally fight for what they believe in.
THE BAD -
Format and a few typos aside, the amount of characters and clans each of them belonged to, made the story a little hard to follow. It was a constant distraction when I had to look back at some notes, searching for each character - under their respective clan.
THE GOOD -
Although I am not a big fan of epic fantasy literature, 'Storm Dragons' had a a very different take on the genre, and kept the energy of the plot at a high degree for it's entirety.
It incorporates love, betrayal, friendship, revenge; all essential parts that make a great action story.
OVERALL -
If you enjoy Conan the Barbarian, Clash of the Titans and Scorpion King - this screenplay if definitely worth a read!

The results were as I predicted; GREAT!
Bad -
With the immense numbers of characters involved in the story, it was difficult (for me) to follow along, and at times I found myself having to search in previous pages for characters - and their descriptions - in order to continue to follow along.
Good -
Eric has a great way of delivering dialogue, that makes you sit at the edge of your seat, and wanting to solve the story. His knack for involving the audience in the thrill of the crime is remarkable.
There was so many intense twists and turns, I suspected EVERYONE to be the "Red Phantom", and once (he/she) was revealed, I nearly fell off my chair - twice!
Overall -
If you've read Mr. Dickson's previous works, then you know that his Fictional Crime stories are at the highest of caliber. I would recommend you take a chilling ride down memory lane, and see if you can solve this case...
