More About Me
I started out writing sketch comedy and news items for 36 1-hr episodes of the pay-per-view cable TV version of NakedNews.com, until I was told to put some clothes on. Also worked on development for two feature documentary film projects for Filmblanc.com, one of which was directed by Deepa Mehta (Let's Talk About It). The pitch documents I wrote helped the producer get $100k's in funding from broadcasters.
Since then I've written and co-written a few features and a dozen short film scripts. One short produced as a Master's thesis, one feature in pre-production. I have a background in freelance editing: book manuscripts, PhD theses, scripts, anything written. Also published a few articles in newspapers, did some translation work, tutored university students, and taught English to college students. Now I assess foreign credentials at the University of Toronto, Canada's biggest and baddest-assed university. It's a living.
One wife, three kids, countless bad jokes. The wife and kids are the best. The jokes can be edited.
Gimme hi-test espresso, vintage guitars and amps, and overloud rock & roll, soul, punk and other sophisticated forms of depravity. "Clean living under difficult circumstances," minus the "clean" part.
