More About Me

Ray Edward's was born in Brook St Hospital, Lambeth, London in January 1938.

During the war he was evacuated to Wales at the age of two, where he spent his formative years.

At the age of seventeen and a half he joined the 2nd battalion, The Parachute Regiment, and saw active service in the Cyprus emergency. he came out for four years, after which he rejoined the regiment.

During the 1960 he took part in the Borneo campaign and Northern Ireland.

His final posting was as a Senior Staff Sergeant Instructor at the British School of Infantry Tactics, Division, Brecon, Wales from where he purchased his release in 1970.

Until his retirement in the sixties he worked for a large firm as a engineering salesman both in England and overseas in the Saudi, mostly in Jeddar, also Kuwait and Iraq.

I read a lot and have an interest in 'heavy reading' I am politically minded and read what is going on, particularly in EU.

Like many people in Britain, I view the EU as a totalitarian state. It is without doubt a failed state, and is politically motivated and has little to do with economics.

If you give your tax and spending for review to the German state for approval, then you are no longer a democratic nation. If your MP's cannot represent the people, then what is the point of them.

In 1999 I knew the way it was going (and so did many others) and it was this that prompted me to write my book and subsequent script.

Favorite Movies

The original 'Killer'

I like others was absorbed from beginning to end, what more could you asked for in a story.

No histrionics, no melodrama, just good actors doing a damn good job.
