First impressions: Loved the opening sequence. Great way to introduce the lead character as an unappreciated single dad with a messed up sleep schedule.
Without giving anything away, this is a great unique twist on the classic cop-chases-bad-guy flick. Action from start to finish, while allowing for plenty of dialogue and character arc.
The rookie cop was just a touch too "rookie cop" for me.
Reminded me of "seven," in some ways. (Not too much.)
Make sure when describing action everything you write can be shown visually.
Excellent dialogue- very believable- I appreciated the cop jargon you threw in there- you've done your research.
Great ending. I felt the tension build, and the payoff was very gratifying.
