I enjoyed acting parts for some of the great screenplays here, and was looking forward to being a part of a collaborative dialogue track for a test movie.

But when my interpretation for a comedy was rejected and recast for the collaborative track, and the re-acted role was not better than my own effort (I am being kind because I really thought I did a better job of interpreting the role and expressing the character's emotions and humor), I realized I was wasting my time here, as so many on the boards have been saying for a long time.

Big disappointment and disillusionment at that callousness.

So I'm gone now.
