Softened Version (with apologies ;-)

This didn't feel at all like the animated draft -- it was somewhat clumsy in both it's choice of actors and in their delivery / interpretation. The exception was improvement in the understanding of Henry (with good work by the actor).

The animated draft reminded me of a precursor to something like "Elektra" - vital and energetic. This version was rougher, and more heavy -- brooding almost.

This script has loads of potential, and it does deserve a real cast. This version, was, as stated, an energized stage play. Given its restrictions, it was a good effort and worth watching.

After watching many of the other test films, Touching Blue remains my favorite (in either version).

For a rough version, this film was surprisingly engaging.

I would expect to see more character development and improved dialogue in a final version.

I had a good sense of most of the characters, with a few exceptions. The first FBI detective could stand as he is with a strong actor. The second FBI detective (who stays with Blue), needs more of a hook; I liked him, but wasn't really sure who he was. The female detective, and her connection to the institute and the FBI were a little unclear. I need to know a lot more about Sandra to identify with her positively or negatively. A few more scenes when Blue is revealing her background and a little more depth when she comes into the film's present time would probably work.

It would be nice to see this film with real actors instead of animated if possible.
