My children really enjoyed it. We really got into the characters and the music kept things moving. It definitely needs some finishing touches to the actual story, however.
There were many scenes where we all sat back and shook our heads at the oddness, especially in the first twenty minutes. Things started really moving after Yannik met the fairy Franc and things were much more engrossing and fun after that.
I thought the mean fairy's demise at the end was kind of hokey.
Perhaps a little more character development and smoothing out of the story would add the finishing touches to this otherwise exciting movie.
