This film seemed to take a while to develop. Characters seemed two dimensional for quite a while, but the story dropped deep into realism; and the character development fleshed out quickly and beautifully once the storyline presented itself, about half way through. The acting was superb. The strong accents made some of the words difficult to follow, but on balance that posed no problem. I liked the color palette, and also the camera work. I highly recommend this film.

Coulda' been the mood I was in, not sure...but this movie made me laugh out loud a dozen times. The characters are all two dimensional, but they never try not to be so it works. They're all uniquely ditzy; and the storyline, though completely unlikely, is great. This movie seems to tell a pretty accurate story about the current state of relationships for youth. It's kind of like this decade's version of the 1990 film Pretty Woman. Avoid watching if being P.C. matters to you. Otherwise, check it out.
