I think this could be a good premise for a Judd Apatow movie or something like that. Don't be afraid to push the humour to 21 Jump Street levels!

Seems like most movies would turn a creature like the banshee into a typical murdering villain but 'Keener' bucks the trend and makes her a nuanced tragic figure who isn't the monster in the story after all. I'd pay to see this!!
