I am a professional screenwriter. In the past year, I have been hired to write the action/thriller “Time Clock” for Scorpio Studios and distributor Lionsgate, the indie horror film “The Farm” for AIC, and a suspense thriller for Nasser Entertainment that I am not presently at liberty to name (but I am pleased to say that it’s a remake of a classic thriller by a legendary director). In the days before I began landing paid assignments, my scripts fared well in contests, including the Nicholl Fellowships, Scriptapalooza, The ASA International Screenwriting Competition and others.
My fiction has also been professionally published. I edited the critically-acclaimed superhero fiction anthology Pow!erful Tales (Peryton Publishing, 2009). My fiction has been published in markets such as Escape Pod, M-Brane SF, and Resident Aliens, as well as in many anthologies, including Times of Trouble, The Tangled Bank, and The Book of Exodi. I studied Speculative Fiction Writing and Screenwriting at Gotham Writers' Workshop.
I am also a licensed attorney with a computer science degree. I am something of a jack-of-all-trades, but that helps me to bring a variety of perspectives to my writing. I enjoy working in all genres.
