Wes Worthing

My first two features, a family drama and an ensemble comedy, debuted well to the world placing as finalists in international contests. I since discovered romantic comedy to be my main genre. I find it challenging and fun creating compelling ways for the characters to deceive themselves and overcome their fears. I've written two more features since Jan. 2010, both romcom fantasies, (think Kate & Leopold or Enchanted), which I'm excited to say will be ready to take to Hollywood in 2012. I'm also a ten-time recipient of the Iowa Motion Picture Award in the categories: Best Actor, Best Screenplay, and Best Voice Over Narration.
