What an awesome movie! I think the question of whether live-action test films can work is definitively answered here. The direction is superlative, the acting is great and separate and apart from Amazon this is the type of movie that could garner major festival attention. If test movies are "proof of concept," this film hits a grand slam.
Really enjoyable experience top to bottom that is very worth watching.
