I am a videographer in Beaverton Oregon and own a video production company, Event One ( http://www.eventonevideo.com ) that produces wedding videos, corporate videos, sports events, theater and recitals videos, and independent feature films. I shoot with the Panasonic HPX300 and the HVX200, and edit on Sony Vegas Pro 11. I write screenplays and AV scripts with Final Draft Pro and its companion AV products. 1. They would never just take a 6 hour road trip to meet with someone they never talked to on the phone.
2. There was no clear reason as to why Owen went. It was sort of WTF up with that with the young guys who watched the film about Owen and his quest.
Owens character and reason for his quest is simply unbelievable
Overall they felt the film was boring, but stayed with it for the most part. I asked if they recommend the film and it was a passive "perhaps".
I think a lot of the Facebook Gaming stuff sort of distracted from the plot of the film and could be cut out and the time allocated to further flesh out the character of Owen.
