More About Me
I am 28 years old. I moved from Knoxville, TN to Los Angeles, CA in order to follow my ambitions of becoming a screenwriter and hope to one day break into the field of directing. I have not managed to make a living out of screenwriting yet, but I like to consider it a very dedicated hobby turning into a profession. I have written five spec scripts, and I am now working on my next one. I know there are many scripts out there that don't get looked and there are the ones that are just made because... I tend to write my screenplays based on personal experiences, real world issues, and anything that I do not think has been done at all or in a very long time. I've attended school and studied the art of screenwriting, but I believe that another way to advance in the art is to read as many books and scripts pertaining to the art, and watch as many movies as possible. This way, you can point out what makes a good script, a weak script, or an okay script. I believe you can also get some ideas and decide what to do differently. I could go on and tell my life story, but I feel there is way too much to tell. So, if there's any questions I can answer, I would love to. Just reach out and post.
