Craige, this isn’t just comedy, of course. There’s drama and emotion and not a little political slant to it. The message is clear - Basically anti-America and American allies where the war in Iraq is concerned.

I liked Charmaine as a character. The dialogue, to me, was the best thing about it. Especially her wit and charm in the early part of the screenplay.

There was never a moment in reading that the story was unclear or difficult to keep up with. Very visual, as well.

Some readers might give you a hard time over all the passive language but the truth is, it’s easier to read sometimes and it doesn’t hinder the ability to visualize the film.

I can’t say the premise is over the top or earth-shaking, but it’s interesting. This story might not go over well in the states, but should have appeal elsewhere. I enjoyed reading it. The indignities Charmaine suffers before she goes into full revolt makes her a compelling and sympathetic protagonist.. A movie with a message – conveyed with humor.

Best to you,
Lucy

Rob continues to taunt the first baseman even after he's on second. He'd have to yell pretty loud, wouldn't he? I guess that would be funny!

And when his slide into home is called out, I honestly thought, good for him! Ignoring his coach!! Arguing on the field!! But I expected to start liking Rob sooner or later.

And I was right. I started liking him as soon as he hit bottom.

Adam Sandler would be so perfect in this, but... isn't he a little long in the tooth to be a famous (still playing) baseball star? Or not?

First BIG laugh - when Bobby starts jogging without being told to. FUNNY!

In one place, what he says is ironic humor, but it's better, imo, if he simply says nothing.
ROB JACKSON
Well ain't this the happiest place on earth. Full of Nazi's and hot chicks with diseases.

Clown suit... balloons... great!

I'll be in the bleachers when this game plays.

Even if you hate baseball, you'd have to like this story.

You do a beautiful job of writing a very funny spoof on the news business.

The opening scene was immediately there in my mind, up on the big screen. I mentally got my popcorn, my coke, and a Kleenex in case I spit the coke onto the monitor.

You did not disappoint.

I thought I was in for a good ride at the name "Weronika". She was a hoot in the scene where she reads the news to Johnny.

Good luck with this and all your writing.
