Rich Figel Kailua

I've been at this awhile and optioned a bizarre punk rock musical comedy to Michael Miner (cowrote ROBOCOP) and Marie Cantin (lots of producer credits on IMDB); optioned earlier versions of the MENEHUNE script posted here to Pam Wallace (cowrote WITNESS), who attached a former VP from Imagine (Suzy Barbieri) and two BLUE CRUSH producers (Buffy Shutt and Kathy Jones). Formerly repped by Cathryn Jaymes, who was Tarantino's manager for 10 years (she passed away earlier this year). Won or placed in a bunch of contests: Nicholl (QF twice), Austin finalist, Silver Contest finalist (twice). Also won an American Film Institute schoarlship to attend the AFI TV Writers Workshop program. I live in Kailua, HI, where many of the Lost crew and actors used to reside -- also the Obamas have spent their past two Christmas vacations here. Aloha, and mahalo for reading my stuff!
