    Creative Notes:
New Draft! Originally titled "Immortal Chains", "A place in the Dark" is like an origin story to a franchise. We've only had a few cracks at "black" vampires, like "Blacula" and "Vampire in Brooklyn", so I thought it was about time to take another crack at it. I wanted to have some social commentary about The "Black Consciousness " in America and still be scary. I had fun with this script!
