My Russian Babe

Creator: Paul Sargia
Genre: Comedy
Age rating: 17 and older
An ex-con's relationship with a sexually-free Russian woman leads to questions about the murder that put him in prison, and his best friend's involvement in the crime.
Synopsis: On an evening out in New York, Vincent -- a middle-aged private chauffeur and aspiring screenwriter fresh out of prison -- tags along with his long-time massage therapist friend, Gene, and his hot date, Patty. When Patty leaves for the ladies room, Vincent confesses that he's hard up and requests Gene's help in meeting women. Gene soon sets him up with a petite, Russian redhead named Masha.
The problem is Masha is a sexually-free woman of the world and Vincent, having been jailed for many years, is just plain lacking in love-life experience. Somehow they comically manage to carry on a relationship and even get engaged.

However, Masha is perplexed when Vincent finally reveals to her that he had been incarcerated for murder. He goes on to tell her that he was eventually exonerated years later, but leaves out details, especially the closely-kept secret that his friend, Gene, was involved, too. If that information gets into the wrong hands, Gene could possibly face murder charges himself.

Suspicious about unanswered questions, Masha pries into the case's circumstances herself, putting Gene on edge. In the process of doing so, she recruits the help of her tough brother-in-law, Viktor, and some of his pals from the old country to persuade Vincent and Gene to come clean. Soon she'll know the truth of what her fiancé has been keeping from her, and whether Gene is a vicious murderer. All of this comes to a head on a night that starts out at Manhattan's Russian Tea Room and ends on a fun, wild note on the boardwalk at Brighton Beach, Queens.

    Creative Notes:
This is really a dramedy with a tour de force role for an actress playing a flamboyant red-headed Russian . There are some explicit sex scenes in this. It is also a low-budget script.
