  • Test Movie 1 - Test Movie
    Creative Notes:
I loved Nate's original script from the first read. My partner in crime, Aaron Harlan, re-wrote some aspects of the story and I think they add a lot of humor. We wandered away from the script in some areas (Ze Frank) but I think we captured the spirit of the story. Thanks again to Nate Dern for culturally relevant content blended with comedic genius.
  • Script 5 - Rick's 1st Draft
    Creative Notes:
Some reviewers criticized the original script because it they felt it wasn't funny enough. I greatly increased the humor. I removed the references to "Neti Pot" because some people, including me, did not think it was very funny. I have made Ned's girlfriend even sweeter and more caring. I left Ned as a rude and brash character, but I made him a nicer, so people could sympathize with him more.
  • Script 4 - Jamster's 1st Draft
    Creative Notes:
Lots of work - READ THIS VERSION!!!
  • Script 3 - Nate's 3rd Draft
    Creative Notes:
Added a third dream sequence, fixed a few formatting errors, streamlined some dialogue.
  • Script 2 - Nate's 2nd Draft
    Creative Notes:
Thanks to Stephen for some very helpful notes! Tightened things up, added a new location, made it read less like a play, took out some "wells," removed most of the parentheticals, and a few other formatting changes.
  • Script 1 - Nate's Original Draft
    Creative Notes:
"Some people get their fifteen minutes; Ned just wants his three and a half." Had the idea for this script kicking around in my head for over a year now. Finally sat down and wrote it. Would love any feedback or suggestions.
