  • Script 8 - Jamster's 4th Draft
    Creative Notes:
I still believe Michael's sp to be one of the very best on AS.

So I dusted it off and put this draft up as an Easter present for all those who dig rom-com's.

It really does tick a lot of the boxes and I look forward to any feedback you may have in regard of the "Story".

    Please enjoy, Jim.

  • Script 7 - Jamster's 3rd Draft
    Creative Notes:
This story is STILL - imho - one of the most fun and commercial sp's on site. And will make a very good movie indeed.

Please read and give some honest feedback - it will be greatly appreciated

    - cheers, Jim
  • Script 6 - Ronald's 3rd Draft
    Creative Notes:
Tightened it quite a bit. Moved the opening scene to a flashback to get quicker into the story. Added some comedy to it.
  • Script 5 - Jamster's 2nd Draft
    Creative Notes:

I've added some quality touches, 'foreshadowed' the climax, sprinkled tweaks and tightened etc. the sum total of which equals a better read of our sp and comes in at a brisk 86 pages/minutes

And as mentioned on my 1st revision a fair chance at making the semis.

Enjoy the read and I look forward to any feedback/suggestions posted - Jim.
  • Script 4 - Ronald's 2nd Draft
    Creative Notes:
My first revision turned Miss Mystery into a true romantic comedy. But this rev. concentrated on making Jake a real likeable hero. That was missing from the get go and I addressed that issue and I also gave him some true depth and growth and a real motivation to find Miss Mystery. Hope you like it.
  • Script 3 - Ronald's 1st Draft
    Creative Notes:
This movie was crying out romantic comedy at Christmas, I kept the intro and the core of the characters but I added his main love interest right in the beginning. ANd I changed the season to the christmas holidays. Making New Year's Eve in Times Square as the pinnacle. Moved Steve and Mark as roommates that by the end of the movie he has decided to move out as sign of his growth.
  • Script 2 - Jamster's 1st Draft
    Creative Notes:
Michael's story is reduced from 103 pages to a quick, easy and balanced 87!

    I removed/changed characters + scenes.

Altered dialogue/interaction + added touches of 'Heart' & 'Pathos' to the story.

I feel this revision improves greatly on Michael's excellent original premise and believe it has a great shot at this month’s semi-finals!

    What do you think?

    Tks, enjoy Jim.
  • Script 1 - Michael's Original Draft
    Creative Notes:
I originally wrote this while I was in film school. Then revised it many times again. I wanted a raunchy manly romantic comedy, that focuses only on the guys perspective.
