Story reads intensifying, touching, and very moving.
If only the people of this world had their very own Sasha.
I can't wait to get my eyes on the rest of this heartfelt story. I'll stay tuned till then. Great stuff! FYI Charlize our daughter will be fist in line for casting calls for Emma. ...

This story doesn't miss a beat of emotion triggers. Many of the stories these days have too many gaps from beginning to end. Writers aren't giving enough meaningful background to communicate a story and explain why scenes exist. This story covers all of the "why's" for me.

I had a chance to read and re-read this moving and creative story when I saw it on the author's web site. From the opening scene at the Children's hospital where a joyous, upbeat, scene introduced Emma (the 7yr old lead heroine) I was hooked. I wanted to know who she was and what made her so loved by those kids. The words spoken by the nurse and Emma's mother provided insight. I immediately cared about her.

The story structure was well-defined and established a ever-increasing demand to know what comes next. It's the same feeling I look for in reading a good novel. That makes me turn the pages. In the very next scene scintillating elements were introduced that kept me engaged throughout. Emma's parents were presented with the kind of realism that every loving parent can identify with.

I loved the natural dialogue that was so well done from beginning to end.

Shasta, her terrier- her birthday gift provides the most amazing story element I have seen in a film in years. I could go on, but suffice it to say his supernatural return, and the role he plays steals the show.

Lastly, the ending is one I did not see coming. I'm pretty good at anticipating endings but this one was jaw dropper.

I sure hope this inspiring and hopeful film gets made by someone. I can't help but think kids the world over, and parents, and especially children fighting cancer will find a hero in Emma. Some young actress will have a role if a lifetime.

Gene has a strong devoplements style of writing in his charectors. It is very difficult for me too see any errors in his work. I believe he should be in the masters of writers. I happen to read his books in my college years for a school project. When I actually meet him in person I finally had a chance to ask him his impiration in his charectors. He simply anwsered, "lets get some coffee an talk". There is always a strong lessen in his writing. His story have a way in my life that helped me solve issues by just reflecting on Gene books. Remarkable is all I can say to Gene. I can't image on how excellent his stories reveal about perspective of life, wonder, and joy. Thank you Gene for your books.

How can you not love an adorable child and her cute little doggy? Gene Cartwright hits all the right notes to tell the story without being sappy or over-the-top maudlin. The little girl is adorable and so's the cute little dog. Don't miss this one!!
