This was hilarious. I want to see the movie! The character and dialogue were great, and for me that's what makes a movie work. I loved Bridget Jones's Diary and I think a movie in that style with African American characters would absolutely sizzle. I know I'd go see it and so would all my friends, because we love to laugh and we don't speak Stupid Heifer!!

You are a very good writer. The style of this script reminds me of Two Can Play That Game. Your ability to use voice over, dream sequence, and montage is exceptional. Even flash back isn’t bad. You might want to add a few more dream sequences.

The Zaine Voice Over would be better as a radio show than reading from a magazine.

After page 50, there are several places where you seem to mix up who is speaking. Page 70, Robert became Richard, I think. The ending with Kevin was quite predictable. You provide too many clues of the end. The ending with Dwayne was also fairly predictable. And, it feels like you could have a more emotional ending.

All in all, very good script.

He's "The One"? by K.L. Brady kept me up till 10:19PM at night reading it in one sitting, wondering what secrets the potential mates of Charisse held.

With dialogue as far ranging as "Leave the vengeance to God. You can't do a fraction of what He can" to shades of Zane's sex novels, the script keeps the reader focused on a happy ending.

And Brady doesn't disappoint -- spoiler alert! -- a happy ending prevails, perhaps not in the manner expected as compared to the lead character's previous multitudinous sex romps.

Black "dramadeys" like this would be an added companion to the rom-coms that fill out Netflix queues these days.
