It is nice to hear our words in someone else's voices! You folks did a great job and the British accent makes us Yankees sound elegant!

I was impressed with the script and reading. Good acting. Sounds like a radio
play from the past. I love sci-fi movies that involve space travel. There are not
enough of them, to my mind. I would like to encourage the writer, cast, crew
and everyone to keep going. What I heard so far I liked a lot.

Of course I gave this movie five stars--I'm the guy that wrote it! How interesting to hear the characters with British accents. I like it! It makes them sound smarter somehow. I am also surprised that Philip chose Script 2, which has been heavily revised since then. In script 2, the characters were more lively but less sympathetic to one another. The deceased Captain Spaulding was a horrible man who had exploited his crew. Readers didn't seem to get this so we made him more likable in later drafts. This version also contains a sequence in which Garth actually brings the orb aboard the ship--Which was scrapped in later versions due to credibility issues with some readers. The conversation with the orb is much longer and provides more "clues" about the ending.

There are clues throughout the script, in fact, for those who read closely enough. Garth's last name is "Adams." Sam's last name is "Chava" which is the Hebrew word for "Life"--also believed to be an alternate for "EVE." The coordinates from the probe are in the Tigris/Euphrates valley--believed by many to be the cradle of life. The atmospheric conditions are those of primordial earth. Overall, I liked this version, though I can see how some things didn't work.

Thank you Philip for your dialog read. Excellent job!!!
