Congratulations on your successful upload. Saw the first act and it has my attention. I want to see what happens next. The production value is what it is but I see beyoud that inasmuch as I'm looking for a good story and at least so far you have one here. That's not to say I had to suspend my disbelief a bit. In my day Green Beret Sgts. were pretty savvy guys and would never put themselves into a situation where they would be publicly humilated by being stood up at their own wedding, but I guess times have changed. Perhaps it has to do with acts 2 and 3. Nevertheless it does make for interesting conflict. You do describe it as a Rom-Com. Good characters, good dialogue.
Ethan, the best man gets on my nerves, but that's a good thing. Makes him interesting. Like they say he's the nicest asshole you'd ever want to meet. The set-up is promising and so is the location. I'm a sucker for the Southwest. In fact, I was stationed at Ft.Huachuca back in the day and even then it was a jumping off point for the Green Berets prior to shipping out. Beautiful country.
So far we have Sgt. Michael Pierce going through a melt down because his heart was broken, wigging out on the firing range which is a total section 8 so that that makes it credible. And we have the lovely Isabella waiting in the wings. All set in present day on the border within spitting distance of May-he-co where a raging drug war is taking place. Like I said what happens next? Depending on that and proper execution and production value, Quien Sabe? BTW the cockatoo was a nice touch. Hate those damn birds. Can"t keep their mouth shut.
