Lots of little nitpicky stuff but some of it is blaring and since you still have time to fix it...

the VO in the beginning w/Janus & Orcus - is all over black. people will wonder what happened to the film. there needs to be something on the screen.

Janus IS a Roman god so i'm not sure if he's the right name for this gladiator. Not only that, would a gladiator sire a real god? i don't think so. it doesn't quite make sense either way.

then you switch to 2 brothers running. why they're running i don't get. but they stop running and talk, talky, talk for a few pages. my eyes were glazing over with those talking heads and no action whatsoever.

then you have one of them having sex... yukky sex. and their talk is way too contemporary.

now you move into some surreal world. and Janus now has a son that's NOT Orcus. this son could be dead or he could be alive.

seems like a long time before we get to the coliseum. and then when we do there's a play going on. what?! um... NO!

then we're back in that surreal place... then back to the arena and still no fighting before we go back to Janus and Orcus and Janus gives some more preachy dialogue.

where is the action? where is the adventure? you've completely lost the exciting tone from the original.

the little bit of fighting is lost in a few lines... and about a lion.

you might have something cool and interesting but the confusion is troubling and takes away from what you want to accomplish.
