Absolutely mind-boggling how Philip and his cast have gotten such a colossal bang for little or no buck!
In a time when live action features are rapidly becoming extinct here at Amazon, this movie is worthy of award consideration for the effort expended and the individual performances. Cheers to Philip, Harry, Caylee and Jamie! Thanks for breathing new life into our project!

Of course I gave this movie five stars--I'm the guy that wrote it! How interesting to hear the characters with British accents. I like it! It makes them sound smarter somehow. I am also surprised that Philip chose Script 2, which has been heavily revised since then. In script 2, the characters were more lively but less sympathetic to one another. The deceased Captain Spaulding was a horrible man who had exploited his crew. Readers didn't seem to get this so we made him more likable in later drafts. This version also contains a sequence in which Garth actually brings the orb aboard the ship--Which was scrapped in later versions due to credibility issues with some readers. The conversation with the orb is much longer and provides more "clues" about the ending.

There are clues throughout the script, in fact, for those who read closely enough. Garth's last name is "Adams." Sam's last name is "Chava" which is the Hebrew word for "Life"--also believed to be an alternate for "EVE." The coordinates from the probe are in the Tigris/Euphrates valley--believed by many to be the cradle of life. The atmospheric conditions are those of primordial earth. Overall, I liked this version, though I can see how some things didn't work.

Thank you Philip for your dialog read. Excellent job!!!

You gotta give this guy credit for staying committed to a project. This script has been through numerous drafts and he still keeps plugging away. The story is an interesting blend of science fiction and romance. The science is quite interesting. I don't think this version will land him in the semi-finals, but he's certainly one of Amazon's most tenacious writers. Rock on, Rick!

This is a unique story that delivers an environmental message more effectively than Avatar. The imagery would be quite striking if Warner Bros. were to take a chance on it. Good characters--plenty of action. Nice job, Richard!
