At Amazon Studios

Angel M. Castillo started writing comedy while a student at Dartmouth College as a staff writer for the school's humor magazine, The Jack-O-Lantern. As a stand-up comedian, he has brought his unique blend of intellect, imagination, and self-deprecation to venues around the northeast, like Boston's Comedy Studio, ImprovBoston, New York's Broadway Comedy Club, and The Creek and the Cave. In May of 2012 he received a Master of Fine Arts from Long Island University TV Writer's Studio program, working under veteran TV and film producer Norman Steinberg.

Reviews Angel Has Written

Buck Plaidsheep, Pilot Script 1 - Pancakes

5 stars
Wyatt reminds me of Koko from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, or Beaker from the Muppets. Characters that are untintelligible/still expressive are always funny to me. Great stuff!

I really appreciate and am flattered by the effort, but perhaps a better software might be in order.

Life is Scary, Pilot Script 1 - The Girl Who Cried Wolf

4 stars
You're clearly a funny writer. If you can try to get the gags to serve character and plot a little better, this will be dynamite.

I laughed out loud just from the character descriptions. I like the use of the Univeral Movie Monster cannon.

The Afterlife Chronicles , Pilot Script 2 - Apocalypse LA- updated pilot script

Jeez. I really wanted to give it a chance. On the first page I see capitalization errors, punctuation errors, spelling errors... It may seem unimportant, but it matters. Take pride in your work.

The Afterlife Chronicles , Mini-bible 1 - The Afterlife Chronicles

I like the concept of your show, but you really should take more care to check spelling errors (there are some egregious ones) before you submit something. A professional presentation is important.
