Micropioneers, Mini-bible 1 - MICROPIONEERS

4 stars
I like this series. Most series from PBS deal with a science curriculum, and this series would be perfect.

The Crazy Adventures of Maximus & Lola, Mini-bible 1 - Original

4 stars
Pretty good concept... I think it'll work well as a series.

First off, let me begin by saying that this story is a brilliant take on Charles Dickens' classic tale. I can see why Amazon Studios picked such a great story for extended option. The high-school setting was great, and the teenager protagonist playing Scrooge was a brilliant character and the ghostly principal as Marley was even more chilling. The only problems are a few typos here and there, but overall, it's a great story.

First off, let me begin by saying that the lack of originality in this movie is quite appalling. This movie is nothing more than a glorified rip-off of Disney princess movies such as The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Frog, and Aladdin. The fact that there is a modern twist in the movie doesn't help it at all. Even the villain is boring, as it is typical of movies of the fairytale princess genre (The evil sorcerer with a dimwitted lackey? Been there, done that!). If the writer wants any helpful advice from me, I'd suggest that the writer of this movie go back and rewrite the whole thing from scratch, because I doubt that Amazon Studios, let alone Warner Bros., would accept this movie in its' present form.
